Louise Van Osten,
Chief Business Growth Specialist
Louise Van Osten is a proven leader in Business Management Consulting. She is a specialist in recognizing business needs and individualizing executable plans to achieve desired results for success. She has been in the consulting business for over 25 years working across multiple industries.
Louise has always been involved in designing, building and growing new businesses. She built her own business while assisting the franchise in national marketing efforts that helped other small businesses achieve higher profits. Additionally, she designed operational procedures that relieved cash flow stress. Louise built new departments as part of a start up technology company that widened the scope of client offerings. She built new technology applications in order to support new business requirements.

She listens, reviews and analyzes business situations in order to develop manageable and executable plans that exceed expectations. Louise is a leader who engages teams to work at their peak efficiency. She makes teams stronger by empowering individuals with skills and tools to implement the right tasks.

LVO Management Consulting follows accounting best practices as we bridge communications with business owners to their Tax Accountants. By properly managing a client's books, we can set strategies on making the best decisions for a company and implementing plans for future growth.

Louise has a Master of Business Administration degree in Operations Management from Pace University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Business Administration minor from St. John’s University.
Her career foundation has always been in client service and management. That coupled with her background in technology, accounting consulting and business ownership enables Louise to apply her wide range of talents to any challenging situation.
Jodi Smith, Senior Bookkeeper & Management Consultant
Jodi Smith is a lifelong entrepreneur with a strong foundation in client service, financial management, and operational excellence. Growing up in a family business, she developed a deep understanding of relationship building and business operations, experiences that shaped her practical, client-first approach.

As part of LVO Management Consulting, Jodi brings extensive hands-on experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, and operational support, helping businesses maintain accurate financial records and improve day-to-day efficiency. She works across multiple industries, including Technology, Salon Services, Automotive Repair, Interior Design, and Construction, allowing her to adapt quickly and deliver solutions tailored to each business’s unique needs.

Known for her reliability, attention to detail, and responsiveness, Jodi partners closely with business owners to strengthen internal processes, improve cash flow visibility, and support sustainable growth. She is passionate about learning new techniques, embracing emerging tools, and continuously refining operations to help organizations run more smoothly and profitably.

Samantha Laurelli, Part-Time
Associate Bookkeeper & Marketing Assistant
Samantha has a Master of Business Administration Degree in Business Analytics and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from St. John’s University. In addition to maintaining a 3.9 GPA in the SJU Honors Program she also was a Leader in the Global Ambassador and Executive in Residence Programs.
As Donor Onboarding Coordinator at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) Samamntha works closely with high profile donors, manages the CRM system and accurately tracks high value donations. Attention to details and data accuracy is a priority for all projects.
As part of LVO Management Consulting Samantha prepares monthly reconciliations for accounts by ensuring that the financial information contained in the QuickBooks general ledger aligns with the bank statements. All business transactions are recorded in daily journal entries for restaurant clients using QuickBooks Online to accurately track revenue, tips, sales tax and daily expenses. Marketing efforts include updating point-of-sale systems and websites to reflect weekly specials. Email and social media posts are managed using Constant Contact.

Stephen Van Osten, Associate Bookkeeper & Office Administration
Stephen has a Bachelor of Art Degree from Marymount Manhattan College with a double major in Animation & Illustration and Emerging Media. In addition to maintaining a 3.45 GPA he also worked part-time in a retail customer service role where he learned the importance of listening to clients and preparing quality results.
At LVO Management Consulting Stephen reconciles banking statements for proper financial reporting, tracks sales, taxes, tips and payroll expenses for retail and restaurant clients. Additionally he prepares monthly financial reports for strategic clients. Stephen works on menu formatting and cross checking prices in Point of Sales and Quickbooks applications.
